The Albanian Police have announced the security measures that will be in place for the football match between Albania and Serbia, set to take place at the “Air Albania Stadium” in Tirana. The route from the hotel where the Serbian football team is staying—located on “Gjergj Fishta” Boulevard—to the stadium, via “Bajram Curri” Boulevard, will experience partial traffic restrictions, Rks News reports.

These restrictions will be enforced this afternoon at 16:30 during the team’s escort to training, and again tomorrow at 18:45 when the team is escorted to the stadium for the match. The duration of each restriction will not exceed 25 minutes.

The State Police are fully committed to ensuring public order and safety throughout the sporting event, deploying strict security measures across all roads and areas where teams and fans will move. Authorities are appealing for citizens’ understanding and full compliance with police instructions on the ground to prevent any incidents.

In their announcement, the police warned that any behavior or actions that compromise public order and safety will be met with zero tolerance and prosecuted according to the law. Citizens are encouraged to cooperate to ensure a peaceful and secure sporting atmosphere for all participants and spectators. Security measures will continue even after the match ends to ensure the organized and safe departure of fans from the stadium and surrounding areas.
