In honor of June 12 – Kosovo Liberation Day, the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Germany, in cooperation with diplomatic missions and the Albanian diaspora, has announced a series of cultural and festive events across several major cities in Germany and Denmark.

Events will take place in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Copenhagen, Munich, and Stuttgart, offering a diverse program that blends art, culture, and national heritage, with the active involvement of the Albanian community abroad.

The Kosovar Ambassador to Germany, Mr. Faruk Ajeti, expressed deep appreciation and pride for the diaspora’s commitment to preserving identity and national values:

“June 12 is one of the most meaningful dates in our state-building history. It symbolizes our collective sacrifice, resistance, and victory for freedom. No matter where we are – in the homeland or abroad – we must honor this anniversary with dignity,” stated Ambassador Ajeti.

The activities will include concerts, film screenings, photo exhibitions, literary presentations, sports events, and discussion panels featuring artists, filmmakers, athletes, and prominent diaspora figures.

The Embassy invites all compatriots to actively participate in these celebrations and contribute to preserving historical memory and promoting our national values.

“With pride in our past and confidence in our shared future, I invite all our citizens to join us in this great celebration of liberation and freedom,” added Ambassador Ajeti.
