Armend Zemaj, MP of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), has commented on the ongoing post-election political impasse, stating that there are no signs the Vetëvendosje Movement (VV) has taken concrete steps toward the formation of new institutions.
Zemaj emphasized that the political deadlock is unnecessarily prolonged, and placed the responsibility squarely on VV.
“We have no indication that VV has reached any agreement for the constitution of the Assembly or formation of the new government. What is happening is excessive. They must either open the way for others or create the conditions for progress instead of continuing with this blockage,” Zemaj declared.
The statement reflects growing frustration among opposition parties, as repeated attempts to hold a constitutive session have failed, preventing the formation of key governing institutions.
