Former U.S. President Donald Trump has stirred strong reactions after posting a direct and threatening message on the social network Truth Social, where he ordered the immediate arrest of masked protesters, Rks News reports.

The message “Arrest the masked people, immediately” refers to recent protests in Los Angeles, where masked demonstrators clashed with law enforcement.

This statement has raised concerns about potential law enforcement actions without court orders and violations of civil liberties. Trump has repeatedly criticized protesters, especially those using antifascist group symbols, calling for harsher measures against them.

California officials have not responded directly, but Governor Gavin Newsom has previously warned about “provocative and unlawful” actions by the federal administration, especially after the deployment of the National Guard without his approval.
