Serbia’s chief negotiator in the dialogue with Kosovo, Petar Petković, announced that he met on Tuesday with the European Union’s Special Representative for the dialogue, Peter Sorensen.

Petković wrote on X (formerly Twitter) that he discussed with the Danish diplomat the “continuation of the dialogue at a technical level” between Kosovo and Serbia, as well as the “need for normalization of relations and de-escalation on the ground.”

Petković stated that he conveyed to Sorensen his “serious concern” regarding Kosovo’s “escalatory” actions.

I conveyed to him serious concern due to the continuous deterioration of the position of the Serb people in Kosovo and Metohija as a result of many escalatory actions by Pristina,” he wrote on X.
