Kosovo Democratic Party MP Vlora Çitaku congratulated the United States of America on the occasion of July 4th, Independence Day, praising the kindness and sacrifice that the country represents, reports Rks News.
In an emotional social media post, Çitaku emphasized that America is not only powerful or wealthy but above all, it is good because, as she said, “Americans are like that.”
“I lived seven years in the USA and felt this kindness every day,” wrote Çitaku, sharing a personal experience involving her nephews, Arbër and Diell, who had met some American soldiers in a pizzeria.
One of the soldiers, from Texas, was thanked by the children and gifted them a caricature as a keepsake. According to Çitaku, this gesture is a true example of American kindness and humanity.
“Thank you – for the kindness, the sacrifice, the hope you convey,” concluded the Kosovo MP.
