Kosovo’s President, Vjosa Osmani, has reacted to the serious incident in which a 27-year-old man lost his life under suspicious circumstances, allegedly during a police intervention.
Call for Independent Investigation and Accountability
President Osmani has urgently demanded full transparency, an independent and professional investigation, and institutional accountability for any legal violations.
“The serious and shocking event of the death of a 27-year-old, around which serious suspicions exist that it occurred during police intervention, urgently demands full transparency, institutional accountability, and uncompromising justice,” stated the President. “All circumstances of this case must be investigated immediately, independently, and professionally, and any official who may have violated the law or exceeded their authority must be brought to justice without any delay. No one is above the law.”
