U.S. Assistant Secretary Meets Vučić in Belgrade: Dialogue Is the Only Way to Resolve Outstanding IssuesThe U.S. Assistant Secretary of State, Brendan Hanrahan, held a meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić during his stay in Belgrade, before continuing his visit to Kosovo.
According to a statement from the Serbian Presidency, the meeting addressed global issues, bilateral relations between Serbia and the United States, as well as current developments in the Western Balkans.
President Vučić emphasized that dialogue remains the only path to address unresolved issues and uphold international law.
“I emphasized that Serbia remains firmly committed to preserving peace and stability, to dialogue—which we see as the only way to resolve outstanding issues—and to respecting international law,” Vučić stated.
