Nait Hasani, a Member of Parliament from the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), stated unequivocally today that there have been no other significant security threats or developments in recent weeks apart from the Banjska incident.

Hasani directly addressed recent remarks, suggesting the President’s statements on other threats might be inaccurate. “There hasn’t been another case in recent weeks. The President might have missed the mark with these statements,” Hasani said. He emphasized that the Banjska incident was a “direct aggression” and criticized the handling of the situation, claiming a lack of transparency.

He asserted that during the Banjska event, either the police remained silent or were prevented from acting. “Only the Banjska case is a direct aggression. We should not have given up; once a process starts, it must be seen through to the end. We saw how they fled; our police either remained silent or someone did not allow them to act. Let them be transparent and reveal the truth about the case,” Hasani demanded.

Hasani also accused President Osmani of lacking responsibility during her mandate, stating that if she had performed her duties properly, Kosovo would not be in its current institutional crisis, where the Assembly has failed to constitute even after 46 attempts.
