Prishtina, July 12, 2025 — The summer return of Kosovo’s diaspora is in full swing, with a noticeable increase in traffic at border crossings. However, authorities report that border wait times remain minimal and manageable, offering a smoother experience than in previous years.
According to the National Center for Border Management, the longest delays reported today are up to 10 minutes, primarily at the Dheu i Bardhë and Jarinjë border points.
In all other border crossings, traffic flow is described as even lighter, ensuring quick and efficient entry for travelers.
The efficient border processing comes as thousands of Kosovars living abroad return home for summer holidays, family reunions, and cultural festivities.
Authorities continue to monitor traffic closely and urge all travelers to check live updates on border wait times before traveling.
