Tomorrow marks 14 years since the heroic death of Enver Zymberi, a Kosovo Police officer who was killed in the line of duty during an operation in Zubin Potok. In honor of his sacrifice—and that of all fallen police officers—Kosovo will observe Memorial Day with a series of commemorative and sporting events.
According to RKS News, the day will begin with tributes and family visits, and is expected to be attended by key state figures including Interior Minister Xhelal Sveçla, General Director of Police Gazmend Hoxha, and other national leaders.
Official visits will take place in:
- Kaçanik, to the family of fallen officer Muhamed Lika
- Vushtrri, to the families of Afrim Bunjaku and Enver Zymberi

The routes will cover multiple regions from south to north, passing through the site of Zymberi’s death in Varage–Zubin Potok.
