Prishtina, July 29, 2025 – RKS News
Kosovo lawyer Naim Rudari has called for a criminal investigation into several individuals involved in the “Banjská” case, claiming they assisted a terrorist group and gave false statements under oath. In a public statement posted on his official Facebook page, Rudari revealed that criminal charges have already been filed against some of the individuals.
“Regarding the case code-named ‘BANJSKÁ’, we have been compelled to file criminal charges against several individuals who have committed multiple criminal offenses,” Rudari wrote.
According to him, on July 22 and 24, 2025, two individuals were summoned to testify in court as witnesses. Rudari claims these witnesses had direct knowledge of the events and members of the terrorist group involved in the deadly attack in Bajnskë.
However, he alleges that rather than cooperating with authorities, the witnesses provided material support to the armed group.
“They not only helped the terrorist group find shelter in the ‘Rajnska Banja’ hotel in the village of Bajnskë, but also promised to disguise the armed individuals (terrorists) as hotel workers in order to avoid arrest,” Rudari stated.
He further claims the witnesses facilitated medical assistance for the injured attackers at the hotel, helped them change out of their uniforms into civilian clothes, and enabled their escape from Bajnskë.
“These so-called ‘witnesses’ have gone on to give false testimony during trial, protecting the criminals and contradicting their earlier statements,” Rudari emphasized.
The lawyer’s strong allegations come amid ongoing trials related to the September 2023 attack in northern Kosovo, in which heavily armed Serb militants ambushed and killed a Kosovo Police officer. The case remains one of the most serious security incidents in Kosovo in recent years.
Rudari’s full statement was published on his official Facebook page.
