Pristina, August 6, 2025 — Hysni Gucati, head of the War Veterans’ Organization, has announced that 106 buses filled with protestors from across Kosovo will arrive in Pristina on Wednesday, August 7, to take part in a large-scale protest against the Kosovo Specialist Chambers (Special Court).

Speaking to RTV Dukagjini, Gucati emphasized the broad participation expected from all regions of Kosovo, noting that protestors are also expected to arrive from Albania and North Macedonia.

“There will be 106 buses coming from various cities of Kosovo. We’ve also received confirmation that protestors from Albania and North Macedonia will be joining us,” Gucati stated.

The protest is scheduled to begin at 17:00 in Skanderbeg Square, and is being organized by associations formed by former members of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), aiming to denounce what they consider injustices committed by the Specialist Chambers against former KLA leaders.

According to Gucati, the protest has received support from all major political parties in Kosovo — with the exception of Vetëvendosje (LVV).
