The 2025/2026 season of the Kosovo Superleague in football will begin this Sunday, the Football Federation of Kosovo (FFK) announced on its official website.
The first round will feature three matches: Dukagjini vs. Prishtina, Malisheva vs. Prishtina e Re, and Drenica vs. Llapi. Meanwhile, Drita and Ballkani will not play this weekend due to their commitments in international competitions.
Kosovo champions Drita will face FCSB in the return leg of the UEFA Europa League third qualifying round this Thursday at 20:00 at the “Fadil Vokrri” Stadium in Pristina. Drita lost the first leg in Bucharest 3–2.
Ballkani will also play on Thursday at 21:00 in Dublin against Shamrock Rovers in the UEFA Conference League third qualifying round. Ballkani won the first leg in Pristina 1–0.
Meanwhile, the First League will feature 18 participating teams this season, unlike recent editions where the clubs were divided into two groups.
