The Chairman of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Memli Krasniqi, paid tribute to former Prime Minister and party colleague Bajram Rexhepi on the 8th anniversary of his passing.
Krasniqi described Rexhepi as a politician who dedicated his entire professional and personal preparation to the service of his homeland.
“Bajram Rexhepi, as a patriotic doctor who stood beside the wounded KLA soldiers during the war, a respected politician who led Kosovo in a challenging post-war period, a unifying figure who paved the way for dialogue and inter-party cooperation, and above all, a responsible and principled leader, was a role model to follow,” Krasniqi emphasized.
Rexhepi, who served as Kosovo’s first post-war Prime Minister, remains remembered as a figure of integrity and dedication in the country’s political and social life.
