The Commander of the KFOR mission, Major General Enrico Barduani, received at the KFOR headquarters in Pristina the French Special Envoy for the Western Balkans, Rene Troccaz, who was accompanied by the French Ambassador to Kosovo, Olivier Guerot.
According to KFOR’s statement, General Barduani reiterated the mission’s continued commitment to ensuring a safe and secure environment for all communities in Kosovo. During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on current developments in the region.
General Barduani thanked Troccaz for France’s contribution to KFOR, as well as for its support in promoting peace and stability in the region.
Meanwhile, Troccaz wrote on platform X that the meeting with General Barduani was “very useful.”
“KFOR is a key structure in the stability of Kosovo. France supports it,” he emphasized.
