U.S. President Donald Trump has sharply criticized George Soros and his son, Alexander Soros, in a post on his social media platform, Truth Social.

In the post, Trump called on U.S. justice authorities to file charges against the Soroses, accusing them of involvement in violent protests and other activities he claims pose a national threat.

“George Soros and his extraordinary left-wing son must be prosecuted under the RICO Act for their involvement in violent protests and much more across the country,” Trump wrote, referring to the federal law used to prosecute criminal organizations.

Trump also labeled the Soros family as “psychopaths” and warned their supporters on the West Coast:

“Watch out, we have our eyes on you! We will not allow these lunatics to destroy America, without giving it any chance to ‘breathe’ and be FREE.”

George Soros, 95, a Holocaust survivor, is known for his philanthropic work through the Open Society Foundations. Since 2023, his son, Alexander Soros, has taken over the leadership of the foundation’s activities.
