Bekë Berisha, a Member of Parliament from the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), has not yet confirmed whether he will vote for Nenad Rašić for the position of Deputy Speaker of the Kosovo Assembly, representing the Serbian community.

In a statement, Berisha emphasized the current uncertainty:

“We will see. Honestly, I don’t know him personally, and the situation is unclear. After consulting with my colleagues, we will decide how to handle this. However, I insist that an obstacle has been created, and Albin Kurti must account for not having enough votes for government formation,” he said.

Rašić is self-nominated for the deputy speaker role after failing to secure sufficient votes during a lot-based voting process earlier in the constituent session. The decision from other political parties, including AAK, will be critical to his election.
