Heavy rainfall and strong storms have affected not only Albania but also North Macedonia.

As a result of the severe weather conditions, a tourist ferry traveling from St. Naum towards Ohrid was forced to cross temporarily into Albania’s territorial waters.

According to ABC News, border authorities in Pogradec confirmed that the ferry entered the Albanian side of Lake Ohrid due to high waves and the strong storm.

After several minutes of sailing in Albanian waters, the ferry is expected to return to Macedonian waters as the intensity of the storm has decreased.
