The Russian Ministry of Defense has denied having any plan to strike Poland, following Warsaw’s claims that 19 Russian drones entered its airspace during overnight attacks on western Ukraine.

In a statement, the Russian ministry stressed:
“Not a single target on Polish territory was planned to be hit. The maximum range of the UAVs used in the strike on Ukraine does not exceed 700 km.”

According to the same statement, Russia is ready to hold talks with its Polish counterparts regarding the situation.

“Nevertheless, we are prepared to conduct consultations with the Polish Ministry of Defense on this matter,” the statement added.
