Under the mediation of the EU’s envoy for the Kosovo–Serbia dialogue, Peter Sorensen, a tripartite meeting was held today in Brussels between chief negotiators Besnik Bislimi and Petar Petković.

As in previous rounds, the parties merely exchanged accusations against one another over the lack of willingness to implement those parts of the agreements each side considers most important.

The Serbian side insisted that priority be given to implementing the agreement on the establishment of the Association of Serb-majority Municipalities. Meanwhile, Kosovo maintained that the basic agreement should be implemented in its entirety, with particular emphasis on issues concerning the commissions on missing persons.
