A police escort vehicle and a civilian car were involved in a traffic accident this Saturday on the Ferizaj–Gjilan highway, specifically in the village of Sojevë.
The incident was confirmed by Kanun Veseli, spokesperson for the Ferizaj Police.
According to Veseli, the accident occurred around 12:00 p.m., but no injuries were reported.
“On 27.09.2025, at around 12:00 p.m., on the Ferizaj–Gjilan main road in the village of Sojevë, a traffic accident occurred. The vehicles involved were: one official police car and one civilian vehicle with local plates. Only material damages were caused, and no injuries have been reported,” Veseli stated.
Police traffic investigation units arrived at the scene and are handling the case.
According to Paparaci sources, the vehicle involved belonged to the escort of the Speaker of the Assembly, Dimal Basha.
