The Kosovo Police announced that due to the organization of the international marathon “Prishtina 2025,” traffic will be blocked on several roads in Prishtina today.
According to the Police, all necessary preparations have been made to ensure the safety of all participants, as well as measures to determine exemptions, restrictions, and partial or complete closures of certain road segments.
The purpose of these measures is to regulate road circulation and manage traffic flow to maintain normal movement.
“The Kosovo Police will suspend vehicle traffic on the Prishtina–Fushë Kosovë road in the direction of Peja and vice versa, up to the junction (connection to the Ibrahim Rugova highway). The plan will be implemented on Sunday (28.09.2025), starting from 09:00 until the marathon concludes,” the statement said.
To better manage the traffic situation, the Police called on citizens for cooperation and understanding, urging them to follow official instructions.
