Prince William, Prince of Wales, has revealed that he plans to implement changes in the monarchy when he ascends to the throne. Speaking with actor Eugene Levy in Windsor for the Apple TV+ series The Reluctant Traveller, William described his approach as thoughtful and progressive.

“Change is on my agenda. It’s something I look forward to and will enjoy. I’m not afraid of change; it excites me,” he said. “Not radical changes, but changes I believe are necessary.”

In a light-hearted moment, the Prince arrived at the interview on an electric scooter, surprising Levy. He noted that he enjoys moving around the castle in this manner and shared his affection for the American Pie film series, in which Levy played a prominent role.

During the tour of Windsor Castle, William discussed family history, media scrutiny, parenthood, and his support for Aston Villa FC. He also touched on the health of his father, King Charles III, and his mother-in-law, Kate Middleton, who is recovering from cancer.

The Prince even escorted Levy to the local pub, “Two Brewers,” near the castle, showcasing his personal and approachable side. The royal family’s dog, Orla, also accompanied them during the castle walk.

William’s candid remarks mark one of the most open interviews he has given, reflecting his desire to modernize the monarchy while respecting its traditions.
