President Vjosa Osmani announced that Kosovo has joined France, Italy, and other European partners in establishing the European Coalition Against Drugs (ECAD).

In a statement, Osmani emphasized that the coalition aims to strengthen European coordination in the fight against drug trafficking and abuse.

“Yesterday in Copenhagen, Kosovo joined France, Italy, and other European partners in founding the European Coalition Against Drugs (ECAD). Through this mechanism, wider European coordination will be ensured in combating drug trafficking and abuse. Kosovo is ready to contribute and, as we have done so far, fight these phenomena effectively. We will work closely with our partners to ensure Europe remains safe, united, and determined in the face of this challenge,” Osmani wrote.
