Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, Commander of the Kosovo Security Force (FSK), received General Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu, the Chief of Defense of Turkey, in a high-level meeting focused on deepening bilateral military cooperation.
General Jashari congratulated Bayraktaroğlu on his appointment and highlighted the ongoing collaboration between the FSK and the Turkish Armed Forces.
During the meeting, the two generals discussed opportunities to expand cooperation in areas including training, education, and capacity-building within the FSK.
“Lieutenant General Jashari thanked General Bayraktaroğlu for Turkey’s continued support in strengthening the professional capabilities of our forces,” the FSK statement said.
In response, General Bayraktaroğlu reaffirmed Turkey’s commitment to further deepen cooperation with Kosovo’s security forces and praised the FSK’s development and professionalism.
Both officials agreed to continue expanding bilateral defense collaboration, focusing on enhancing Kosovo’s military readiness and professional standards.
