Albulena Haxhiu, Deputy Speaker of the Kosovo Assembly, exercised her right to vote in the local elections.
Encouraging citizens to go to the polls, she emphasized that voting is a way to influence their own lives.
“I have just cast my vote. Today is an important day for Prishtina as well as for all other municipalities. I was accompanied to the polling station by my two children, Tomori and Andrra, as I want them to learn that the right to vote is a civic right. Through voting, they can influence their own lives. I call on all citizens, especially women and girls, to exercise their right to vote,” Haxhiu stated.
