Sami Kurteshi, a member of the Vetëvendosje movement in the Central Election Commission (KQZ), has reacted to the conduct of Serbian media and representatives of the Serbian List in northern Kosovo.
Kurteshi has requested the de-accreditation of RTS and Tanjug, accusing them of using hate speech and spreading disinformation during election day.
“I am requesting the de-accreditation of RTS and Tanjug precisely because of the hate speech and disinformation they are spreading today during these elections,” Kurteshi stated.
His request was also supported by Alban Krasniqi, another VV member in the KQZ.
Kurteshi further noted that field reports indicate that in northern Kosovo, some voters are attempting to vote using Serbian and falsified identification documents, creating confusion for election commissioners.
