Kosovo’s Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, praised the extraordinary performance of Kosovo’s national team after their triumph against Sweden.
In a Facebook post, he described the victory as historic.
“An extraordinary Kosovo! A disciplined game, a well-deserved victory, and another historic result against Sweden to strengthen our second place in the group and keep alive and tangible the dream of qualifying for the World Cup. Congratulations on the victory, applause to our players, and best wishes to everyone,” Kurti wrote.
