Kosovo Police announced that a house in Leposaviq was found to contain weapons, ammunition, uniforms, and other illegal equipment.
The items were discovered on Wednesday after the police received a complaint from a woman stating that her husband had threatened her and possessed weapons.
“Police units went to the scene and contacted the suspect, who admitted to possessing weapons. During a search of the suspect’s house in the village of Mekinice, Leposaviq, police found and confiscated: 3 AK-47 automatic rifles, 1 air rifle, 1 revolver, 1 lighter (shaped like a revolver), 55 bullets, 1 bayonet, 2 knives, 5 AK-47 magazines, 1 revolver magazine, 1 revolver holster, 1 military jacket, and 2 shirts of the Serbian police,” the police statement reads.
