The Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Dimal Basha, together with the acting Minister of Health, Arben Vitia, visited on Saturday the injured members of the Municipal Election Commission (KQZ) who were involved in a road accident on the Prishtina–Ferizaj highway.
Basha expressed that he was deeply shocked by the news of the accident, in which five KQZ members were injured while dutifully performing their election-related responsibilities.
“Deeply saddened by the accident involving five members of the Municipal Election Commission in Ferizaj, who were dedicatedly fulfilling their duties as part of the electoral process. Together with Minister of Health Arben Vitia, we visited the injured and their families to offer our support and to personally see their condition after this tragic event,” Basha wrote on his social media account.
On behalf of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, Basha expressed his deepest sympathy and wished the injured a swift recovery so they can return safely to their families.
“We stand by them with full institutional support and the human care that such moments require,” he added.
