Albania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Elisa Spiropali, expressed her gratitude to Israel for its recognition of Kosovo during her official visit. She emphasized the importance of deepening cooperation between the two countries in fields such as innovation, education, healthcare, tourism, and agriculture.
Spiropali also addressed former U.S. President Donald Trump’s 20-point peace plan, describing it as an opportunity for stability and peaceful coexistence in the region. She recalled Albania’s legacy of saving Jews during World War II, calling it a moral heritage of the Albanian people.
During the visit, a memorandum of cooperation was signed focusing on public diplomacy and the training of young diplomats. Spiropali also met with Israeli Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana to reaffirm support for regional stability.
