The Constitutional Court of Kosovo has not yet reached a decision regarding the complaint filed by the Serb List (Lista Serbe) over the procedure used to elect deputy speakers of the Assembly from non-majority communities, specifically referring to Nenad Rashiq, who was nominated and elected by Vetëvendosje.

The Court confirmed to RTV21 that the case “is currently under review.”

“This case is under examination by the Court. A decision will be made after all constitutional aspects of the claims presented by the applicant have been thoroughly assessed, in accordance with the Constitution, the Law on the Constitutional Court, and the Court’s Rules of Procedure,” the Court stated in its response.

The outcome of this review could set an important precedent for representation rights and parliamentary procedures involving minority communities in Kosovo’s legislative framework.
