President Vjosa Osmani was officially received today by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Also attending the meeting was Naim Tërnava, the Grand Mufti and Head of the Islamic Community of Kosovo.
During the meeting, President Osmani expressed her deep gratitude for the enduring friendship and unwavering support that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has provided to the people and the state of Kosovo over the years.
Highlighting the importance of strengthening economic cooperation and opening new chapters in bilateral relations, President Osmani proposed facilitating free movement for Kosovo citizens through the possibility of electronic visa applications—an initiative warmly welcomed by His Royal Highness, the Crown Prince.
Both sides reaffirmed their shared commitment to peace, stability, and regional and global cooperation, as well as their readiness to further deepen bilateral relations through new agreements and broader partnerships in areas of mutual interest.
President Osmani also expressed Kosovo’s willingness to expand cooperation with Saudi Arabia in the fields of renewable energy, tourism, agriculture and food security, education, digital innovation, and sustainable development, paving the way for new opportunities in the relationship between the two nations.
