President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, held an official meeting with His Royal Highness Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The meeting was also attended by the President of the Islamic Community of Kosovo, Mufti Naim Tërnava.
During the discussions, President Osmani expressed gratitude for the longstanding friendship and continuous support that Saudi Arabia has provided to Kosovo over the years and highlighted the importance of deepening economic cooperation between the two countries.
She also proposed facilitating free movement for Kosovo citizens through the introduction of electronic visas, an initiative that was received with particular interest by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
The meeting emphasized the mutual commitment of both countries to peace, stability, and regional and global cooperation, as well as the readiness to further strengthen bilateral relations through new agreements and the expansion of collaboration in areas of mutual interest.
President Osmani expressed her willingness to expand cooperation with Saudi Arabia in renewable energy, tourism, agriculture and food security, education, digital innovation, and sustainable development, opening new chapters in the relationship between the two nations.
