President Vjosa Osmani stated that Vetëvendosje leader Albin Kurti has requested an additional meeting before the expiration of the 10-day deadline for proposing a new mandate.
“The leader of Vetëvendosje requested to meet me once more before the 10-day period expires, which is the constitutional timeframe for proposing a second mandate. Whether he comes forward with a proposal is up to the internal consultations within his party, but we have a constitutional obligation to respect these deadlines,” Osmani said.
