Osmani Decrees 20 Judges with Initial Mandate: Justice Remains the Foundation of Every Democratic State

Today, the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has decreed 20 judges with an initial mandate.

The decrees were issued based on the proposal of the Kosovo Judicial Council (KJC).

According to the statement from the Presidency, the newly appointed judges have pledged to remain loyal to the Constitution and the laws of the Republic of Kosovo.

“President Osmani emphasized that an independent judiciary remains the foundation of every democratic state and a guarantor of its institutional and social development,” the statement reads.
