German Foreign Minister to Visit the Western Balkans Next Week, Including Kosovo

German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul is set to visit six Western Balkan countries next week as part of Berlin’s continued support for the region’s path toward European Union integration.

His tour will begin on Sunday in Bosnia and Herzegovina, followed by visits to Montenegro, Albania, and Serbia. On Tuesday afternoon, November 18, 2025, Wadephul is scheduled to arrive in Kosovo, where he is expected to meet President Vjosa Osmani, acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti, and German KFOR troops.

The tour will conclude on Wednesday in North Macedonia.

According to the announcement, the trip highlights Germany’s commitment to supporting the Western Balkans on their European integration path.
