Russia strikes Ukraine overnight with over 470 drones and 47 missiles, killing nine people

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that nine people were killed in overnight Russian attacks on Ukraine.

Russia launched more than 470 drones and 47 missiles in what Zelensky described as an “unrestrained assault,” according to his post on Telegram.

Three districts of Ukraine’s second-largest city, Kharkiv, were hit by a massive drone attack, injuring more than 30 people, including children. Photos shared online showed buildings and cars engulfed in flames.

Ukraine’s Ministry of Energy reported that power outages are affecting several regions across the country.
