Dissatisfaction over the trials of former UÇK leaders and the lack of respect for them at The Hague has sparked reactions among students across the country.

The Organization of UÇK War Veterans (OVL UÇK) has expressed its support for the peaceful protest of students from the “Fehmi Agani” Initiative, who are demonstrating against the injustices occurring at The Hague and in defense of the rights of UÇK leaders.

OVL UÇK emphasizes that the students are raising an important voice for justice and demanding respect for the rights of UÇK fighters.

“Now more than ever, the voice of students demanding justice and respect for UÇK leaders must be heard,” reads the statement from OVL UÇK.

The organization considers this protest a democratic expression of discontent, noting that young people are defending values being undermined in the judicial processes at The Hague. They strongly support the students’ cause and any peaceful action that upholds the dignity of freedom fighters.

OVL UÇK calls on institutions to listen to and take the students’ voices seriously.

“Let the voice of the students be heard!” the statement concludes.
