Nearly three months have passed since the International Police Organization, INTERPOL, issued an arrest warrant for the former deputy leader of the Serbian List, Millan Radoičić, in connection with the armed attack in Banjska – the northern part of Kosovo.

However, the criminal mastermind Radoičić has still not been arrested or surrendered to justice.

After the attack on the Banjska Monastery, Radoičić – who is also on the American blacklist for participation in international organized crime – went to Serbia.

Since then, the whereabouts of the criminal mastermind are unknown, while the possibility of Serbia handing over Radoičić to INTERPOL is being questioned.

On this issue, the political scientist and Serbian journalist, Boris Varga, spoke.

Initially, in a conversation with “Bota sot,” he expressed doubts that Serbia would hand over Radoičić to justice, emphasizing the fact that all those patriots extradited by the Serbian state to foreign courts became “heroes.”

“There’s a greater likelihood that Radoičić will be unavailable to authorities rather than Vučić handing him over to INTERPOL. In Serbia, all those patriots extradited to foreign courts became ‘heroes.’ On the other hand, it would be considered ‘treason’ because Radoičić needs to be extradited not for corruption but for the terrorist attack, which is celebrated as a ‘heroic strike’ in every corner of Serbia, in villages and on billboards,” declared the Serbian journalist.

Furthermore, Varga assessed that Radoičić is more likely to flee to Russia than be extradited to Kosovo.

Among other things, he also spoke about the criminal activities of the former deputy leader of the Serbian List and his connections with the power holders in Serbia.

“I would more believe that Radoičić will disappear from Serbia, let’s say flee somewhere to Russia, than be extradited to Kosovo. Radoičić is a person whose criminal activities and manipulated business tenders lead directly to the highest people in power in Serbia. But there’s another specificity of politicians in Serbia, that under international pressure or the fear of losing power, sooner or later, they will hand over all their ‘heroes’,” concluded Boris Varga for “Bota sot.”
