Albanian President Bajram Begaj has conveyed the greetings of former U.S. President Donald Trump to the Albanian people on their Independence Day.
Through a post on X (formerly Twitter), Begaj expressed his gratitude for the warm messages sent by Trump, highlighting the historic friendship between Albania and the United States.
“I am honored to convey President Trump’s greetings to Albanians on Independence Day. Thank you to the U.S., and thank you to President Donald J. Trump for the warm and positive messages on this important day,” Begaj wrote.
The Albanian president reaffirmed his country’s ongoing commitment to working closely with the United States on shared priorities.
“Albania remains dedicated to collaborating with the United States on our common priorities. Albania has always stood, and will always stand, alongside the United States. May God bless our nations and peoples,” he added.
