Bundesliga club Hoffenheim made a special post celebrating four Kosovo national team stars who played in Germany’s top-flight league.
The post highlighted Hoffenheim’s three Kosovo players—Fisnik Asllani, Leon Avdullahu, and Albian Hajdari—together with Augsburg midfielder Elvis Rexhbeçaj.
Hoffenheim won 3-0 against Augsburg, with Asllani, Avdullahu, and Hajdari starting the match, while Rexhbeçaj came on in the 46th minute.
Hoffenheim noted that, for the first time in Bundesliga history, four Kosovar players appeared on the field in the same match.
“KosoWOW. With Fisnik Asllani, Leon Avdullahu, Albian Hajdari, and Augsburg’s Elvis Rexhbeçaj, four Kosovar players played in a single match for the first time in Bundesliga history,” Hoffenheim wrote.
