KFOR has released new photographs showing NATO troops conducting border patrols, stating that these regular day-and-night patrols will continue in the north and across all areas of responsibility to help ensure security in Kosovo.
In an announcement on its official page, KFOR emphasized that these ongoing activities reflect its long-term commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment for all communities living in Kosovo.
“NATO-led KFOR troops will continue their regular day and night patrols, ensuring a continuous, stable, and reassuring presence both in northern Kosovo and throughout the entire area of responsibility. KFOR personnel remain vigilant, informed about the situation, and dedicated to helping preserve stability across the region. These ongoing actions demonstrate KFOR’s long-term commitment to providing a safe and secure environment for all people living in Kosovo,” the statement reads.
The mission also underlined that KFOR operates in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the EU Rule of Law Mission (EULEX), each within their respective security mandates.
