The Board of the University of Prishtina, in its meeting held on December 3, 2025, approved the awarding of scholarships for master’s, doctoral, and students with special needs programs, totaling €532,700.
For the academic years 2023/24 and 2024/25, 685 master’s students from 13 academic units of the University of Prishtina have been selected as scholarship recipients, according to the results of the competition held on November 7, 2025.
“Scholarships will also be awarded to 54 doctoral students from four faculties for the academic years 2023/24 and 2024/25, who passed the selection process based on the results of the competition announced on November 7, 2025,” the statement noted.
Additionally, 20 students with special needs studying across nine faculties have been granted scholarships for the academic years 2023/24 and 2024/25. The competition for these students was announced on the same day as the other two competitions.
Annual scholarships for master’s and doctoral students are €700, while scholarships for students with special needs amount to €500, according to the announcement.

“Once again, through the awarding of scholarships and daily academic and research activities, the University of Prishtina has demonstrated that it exists, functions, and serves its students and the development of the country,” the statement concluded.
