Over 76,000 Applications from the Diaspora Approved

The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Kosovo has announced that over 84,000 applications for voting registration from citizens abroad were submitted through the electronic platform. Of these, more than 76,000 have been approved, while over 7,000 were rejected.

“Based on preliminary data, during the 11-day registration period (26 November – 6 December 2025, 23:59) via the CEC’s electronic platform https://diaspora.kqz-ks.org, a total of 84,712 registration applications were received for voting outside Kosovo. Of these, 76,876 were approved, 7,580 were rejected, and 256 were canceled,” the CEC stated.

Among the approved applicants, the majority registered to vote by mail: 55,016 opted to send their ballot package to one of the overseas mailboxes, and 2,724 chose to send the ballot package to the CEC mailbox in Kosovo.

Meanwhile, 19,136 citizens registered to vote in person at one of the diplomatic missions of the Republic of Kosovo.
