KFOR Commander, Major General Ozkan Ulutash, met with Acting Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, who was accompanied by Acting Minister of Defence Ejup Maqedonci and Acting Minister of Local Government, Elbert Krasniqi.
According to a statement from KFOR, the meeting focused on exchanging views to strengthen cooperation between KFOR and Kosovo’s institutions.
“General Ulutash emphasized KFOR’s unwavering commitment to continue contributing to security across Kosovo and the wider region,” the NATO military mission in Kosovo stated.
KFOR continues to implement its mandate—based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999—to contribute to a safe environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo, ensuring freedom of movement at all times and in an impartial manner. KFOR works in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as security responders.
