The Kosovo Police have reported the presence of fog in the Ferizaj region, which is creating a risk for road safety due to current weather conditions.
According to the Police, the fog has been observed in the municipalities of Ferizaj, Kaçanik, Shtime, Shtërpcë, and Hani i Elezit, especially in lower-lying areas and near rivers, reducing visibility on the roads.
The Police are urging all drivers to follow traffic safety measures, including turning on low beam and fog lights, avoiding the use of high beams, reducing speed and keeping it under control, and staying in the right lane.
Drivers are also advised to remain alert to sudden changes in visibility, as fog can create optical illusions and affect the perception of speed.
“Road safety is a shared responsibility,” the Police emphasized in their statement.
