The U.S. President Donald Trump’s Special Envoy, Richard Grenell, has reacted to the visit of Albania’s Prime Minister Edi Rama to The Hague today.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Grenell stated that Rama is right and that a grave injustice is being committed against former President of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi.
According to Grenell, Jack Smith is a disgrace, adding that Rama’s stance is justified.
“A NATO ally and the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, rejects Jack Smith’s legal case against former President Thaçi in The Hague—and shames Europeans for allowing this injustice to continue. Jack Smith is a disgrace. Rama is right,” Grenell wrote on Thursday, as reported by Sinjali.
Edi Rama traveled to The Hague on Thursday, where he met former President Hashim Thaçi, who continues to be held there by the Specialist Chambers.
