Approximately 100 state prosecutors and officials from the prosecutorial system have been engaged nationwide to oversee and safeguard the integrity of today’s parliamentary elections.
This was announced on Friday by the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor, which confirmed that prosecutors will remain on duty until the conclusion of the entire electoral process.
Their role is to monitor the process closely and initiate legal proceedings in the event of any irregularities that may occur during the elections.
The State Prosecutor has called on citizens, political parties, institutions, and civil society organizations to report any suspected cases of vote misuse, manipulation, or electoral fraud, regardless of who may be involved. Reports can be submitted to the relevant prosecution offices across the country.
